Bourjois blushes have been one of my first make up purchases. Actually Bourjois as a brand has been one of the first I was obsessed with when I got into makeup.
I love their super cute packaging and the smell -it reminds me of my mom's old makeup bag.
When it comes to price, Bourjois products are quite reasonable. I think the brand is created to target younger audience.
Little bit on history and official description:
With the widest range on the market, Bourjois little round pot Blush is our iconic and timeless product since 1863.
Bourjois Little Round Pot blush was the first ever dry powder making make-up accessible to all women everyday in the 19th century.

The only thing that makes me sad is that Bourjois was completely discontinued from US last year!
I have three blushes in 95 Rose de Jaspe, 33 Lilas d'or and 35 Lune d'or (I believe 35 is discontinued)
95 Rose de Jaspe is soft cool toned pink with slight silver sheen but it does not have shimmer. This is probably the most beautiful and wearable shade they have. It is so easy to work with and it has softer texture then the other ones. It is great choice for lighter skin tones and someone who has never worn a blush before.
33 Lilas d or is a bright warm toned pink with a golden shimmer. Shimmer is noticable in the pan but also on the skin after applied. This shade is great for medium or darker skin tones, although lighter one can use it too, because it is not too pigmented so you don't have to worry you'll overdo it.
35 Lune d'or was the first one I bought. I was not into blushes and I was so scared I will look like a clown. It is light beige-golden shade with a golden shimmer. Obviously it can work as a blush only on very light skin tones or as a highlighter on light/medium skin tones. I have no idea why Bourjois discontinued this one.
I know that a lot of women dislike Bourjois blushes for several reasons:
- pot is really tiny and it is hard to swirl in it with a bigger brush
- all Bourjois blushes are baked, which makes them much harder than regular powder blushes. They do last longer but from time to time you have to scratch the surface if it gets hard
Each blush has 2.5gr
and it comes with a cute brush and even has a mirror inside
Brush is pretty much useless except you are on the go and use it just for a touch up. It is pretty dense so if the blush gets hard i like to apply it first with this tiny brush and then blend it out with some bigger blush brush.
