I am sitting here trying to figure out what to write about Bifacil that has not been written or said already. It is one of those products on the market that is holy grail material. Simply perfection. I am not easily impressed or I do not fall for the hype but dang.... this magic in the bottle is worth all the hype! 

First let me say price tag of 28$ is not easy to swallow. I refused for a while to pay that much for eye makeup remover since I did find some similar ones on the market for around 5$ (neutrogena, loreal...). Price is probably the only downside of this product. It comes in 4.2 oz or 125ml bottle . Recently they released bigger size 6.7oz or 200ml for 38$. If used daily smaller bottle can last a month, maybe slightly longer.

It is really small amount needed to remove everything. When I say everything I really mean every single trace of super waterproof makeup. My eye makeup can be heavy - primer, couple of eyeshadows, glitter, waterproof eyeliner, eyebrow pencil, mascara primer, couple of coats of mascara... To remove something like this I need heavy duty stuff like Bifacil.

Since it's a dual phase product it needs to be shaken well. Then I apply small amount on cotton pad and gently press it onto my eye area. I do not ever rub. There is no need for rubbing. I like to leave it for about 10 seconds to let it melt all my makeup.

It does not sting eyes nor it leaves blurry vision. Often that happens with oil based eye makeup removers. Lancome states that this is safe for sensitive eyes and contact lenses wearers. Since I do not have sensitive eyes nor I wear lenses I can't really speak of this.

It does leave slightly oily film but I always rinse my eyes with lukewarm water after using it.

Main reason why I switched from the cheaper eye makeup removers even though they were very effective is that they were TERRIBLY drying out my eye are. I already have dry skin around eyes and this was making things even worse. My skin would itch and no matter how much eye cream I would apply would still feel dry.

Bifacil in action! I applied eyeshadow primer, Stila liquid eyeliner (one of the longest wearing on the market), Urban Decay  creme eyeshadow, Nars powder shadows, Lancome eye khol, MAC creme eyeshadow and eyeliner...

I held the cotton ball on my hand not longer than 5 seconds and this is how much it removed in one swipe.

Overall this became my holy grail and staple in my skincare. Yes it is pricey but nothing beats it's effectiveness while being gentle on the skin.

I have used Lancome Huile Douceur  and Clinique Take the day off balm for a while and I just got bored with both -although I LOVED the products - and wanted to try something new but on the same page as these two.

Lancome products do stand for luxury and Creme douceur really represents it in the best way. I thas a thick cream texture right out of the tube that transforms into smooth oil when applied and rubbed on skin. 

Creme Douceur is lightly scented with a subtle hint of a rose. 

My main thing about this kind of a product is how efficient are they when it comes to makeup removal. Creme douceur does great job! It is highly efficient in removing even the heaviest waterproof makeup. I do not use it on my eyes. I never use any face makeup remover on my eyes. I know many of you do that but I just like using separate eye makeup remover. 

I have noticed that many women do not use this kind of a product the right way. Most use this the way they would you regular face cleanser and since they do not get any results with it they end up hating the product. Any makeup removing oil or balm is supposed to be used on DRY SKIN! Gently rub it in over your makeup. It will transform into oil and when warm water is added it will easily be rinsed leaving skin clean. Also there is often concern when Oil is mentioned in skincare. Most of the women associate it with oily, greasy feeling on skin with heavy oily residue. Creme Douceur does not feel oily on skin nor it leaves any kind of residue! So even if you have oily skin you can easily use it. 

Creme Douceur leaves my skin feeling clean and soft without stripping or drying it out. Even someone with really sensitive skin can use this because it does not irritate the skin at all. 

It is also great choice for travel if you can't carry a lot of skincare products. 

Price point is great - 25$ for luxury cleanser and with a decent size - 4.2oz /125ml. Also you need teeny tiny bit  of the product and little really goes a long way. 

After Creme Douceur I follow with Creme radiance cleanser and Tonique Radiance. I will definitely repurchase but I am planning on getting larges size that is 6.8oz and retails for 35$ - I think it's a great deal!

I wanted to show you how the product looks like and how efficient it is. On back of my hand I applied foundation primer, liquid foundation, powder, blush, lip gloss, lipstick and waterproof eyeliner.

-All the makeup mention above is applied

-Amount of the Creme Douceur that you'll need for the whole face 

-Creme Douceur massaged onto the skin. It transformed into the oil

-Rinsed out with warm water. Voila! Skin is clean and feels smooth
