MAC Indulge Collection - Deliciously rich fluidline review, photos, swatches

MAC Deliciously rich fluidline is part of the fall 2013 Indulge collection. Limited edition of course, as usual with MAC. Color is described as shimmering dirty taupe. Honestly MAC sometimes has super weird color descriptions. To me it is dark chocolate brown with golden shimmer. As simple as that.

I am BIG on MAC fluidlines. I have tried or had each and every from the permanent line as well as many of the limited edition colors. Actually fluidline in Macroviolet was my first ever MAC product (thank you D! :) ).
They are super creamy,  extremely long lasting easy to use, never smudge or flake and they last forever. I had blacktrack for over two years before I hit the bottom finally. They do dry out after a year or two but with one spritz of Fix+ and little mixing they are like new.

I've read some reviews online after I ordered it and I was worried this will be a big miss for me. They stated that it is bad formula, not creamy, not pigmented enough, chunky glitter etc...
I had to disagree with everything! First of all color is so unique and so beautiful and different depending on a light. Texture is creamy, pigmented, glides easily and there is no chunky glitter just very fine golden shimmer.

I only had one bad experience with pretty dry texture of one MAC fluidline but all the other ones were fantastic including Deliciously rich. I can see myself using and wearing it often. Color is wearable although not as wearable as Dipdown which is one of my all time favorites. Dipdown and Blacktrack I bought twice so far. I will try to review them soon too. For me fluidlines are the easiest to use especially for beginners. Usually I apply them with MAC 210 brush.

Lancome Artliner in Forest review and photos

Emphasize your eyes with this easy-to-handle, liquid pen featuring a uniquely shaped foam tip that lets you line, shape and define eyes to create any look you like. Rich, deep, luminous pigments offer the most intense, dramatic color. Glides on smoothly without scratching, tugging or skipping and lasts all day.

I have already wrote about Lancome Artliner in Noir here. I was lucky to receive Forest from Lancome for their St Patrick's day challenge. I used it together with Jade Fever palette.

First of all I love the color. I have had many dark and light green eyeliners in last couple of years. I love how dark green compliments dark brown eyes.  Sometimes women do need change from just basic black and brown eyeliners. This is different enough but still not over the top, not too bright and I would say completely work appropriate.

It has a nice liquid formula that easily glides without pulling the skin. It is opaque enough to get full coverage with one swipe. It does not flake or smudge during the day. I think Artliner is great fool proof eyeliner espeically for beginners. It has applicator that's not too thin but still thin enough to create perfect line.

Tube has to be shaken well before use. I needed to dip the applicator back into the tube twice for each eye.

Overall I am satisfied with Artliner and would love to try more colors from this range.

I am HUGE fan of gel eyeliners and I've been using MAC fluidlines for a while so I was so excited to receive Liner design from Lancome for their St Patrick's day challenge. I always favor gel eyeliners for their texture, longevity and ease of application. It needs to be paired with a good eyeliner brush though.

Liner design comes in a small glass jar with a black plastic lid with a signature Lancome rose on it.

Texture is creamy enough for easy application but not too creamy which helps to use exact amount of product you need-there is never too much product on the brush. That is my issue with Fluidlines and their creaminess - I always end up having too much on the brush and have to wipe it off on the sides of the jar. Well I am glad that's not happening with Lancome Liner design.

It glides very easily on the lid. I applied it with MAC liner brush. Color does not fade trough the day and does not peel, smudge or flake.

I love the fact I do not have to layer it to get the color to show. One dip with a brush one stroke and Voile looks perfect! Also I am so glad that Lancome came out with some very bright colors. I would love to try more of these!

Lancome Le Crayon Khôl Black Coffee review, photos and swatches

LE CRAYON KHÔL

Create a sensual, intense eye look with ease. This smudgy, creamy-smooth eye pencil delivers a dose of decadent color that glides on effortlessly and blends beautifully. In an instant, eyes are perfectly lined, defined and contoured for a smoldering effect that’s absolutely irresistible.

Black coffee is described as dark brown black. It is more of a dark chocolate brown. On eyes it definitely does not look black, you can really tell it's brown. Formula is very long wearing with no smudging. I do not use it often on waterline but even there it has good staying power.

It is creamy but hard enough to create precise line. Also it's very easy to sharpen with no breaking - I use either sephora or nars pencil sharpeners.

When it comes to texture it's definitely not like Urban decay which is super creamy and easier to smudge.  With Le Crayon khol where you apply it that's where it stays put. I have never even tried smudging it.

I love using this color with neutral, nude eye shadows. It's bold and dark enough but not harsh like black. It looks great even worn by itself.

Usually I am not big fan of pencil eyeliners, I prefer gel and liquid but among all the pencils I have this is the one I reach the most.

This is my second time buying it and as soon as I run out I will buy it again.  Great staple for everyday easy makeup.
