Lancome Aquatic Summer 2013 Collection Color Design 6 Pan Palette review, photos, swatches

Infinitely luminous.  Sensationally smooth.  All-in-one 6 shadow palette to brighten eyes. Indulge in a limited-edition compact with shades of golden copper and brown mixed with aquatic teal. Inspired by the warmth of the sun and colors of mosaic tiles at the bottom of a pool, this new versatile, all-in-one palette conveniently creates a full eye look for day or night.

Sweep the light peach under the brow and the deep apricot color on the lid, blending them together. After lining the eyes, apply the turquoise shade over the liner to intensify the color. For more intensity, add the bronze shadow to the contour or into the lash line.

Benefits
 • Creates bright, luminous eyes

 Technology

I was so excited when I saw that Lancome Aquatic summer 2013 collection includes eyeshadow palette. I was so impressed with Glamorous Nudes and had high expectations from this one too.

Colors are warm toned and perfect for summer. Or not only summer if you are fan of nude, peachy and bronzy brown shades. Lancome added a twist to it by adding teal and blue colors in the palette.

Official description of this palette:

Aquatic essence - a bronze and copper palette with an aquatic teal pop of color.

All the shades are very nicely pigmented with a darker blue , dark brown and copper being crazy smooth and pigmented!

My favorite shade in the palette is golden peach shade in the top row. It brightens the eyes and it's such a easy shade to wear and work with. I used it together with light beige-golden and dark brown in the crease.

Dark chocolate brown is like a dream for all the brown eyeshadow lovers. You can wear it for more dramatic look of even instead of liner. I layered it over Black coffee eye khol to add some shimmer to it.

I admit teal and blue are not easy to work with. Not because of the texture but I am just not used to wear these kind of colors. I figured I can layer lighter teal on top of the brown eyeliner for some pop of color.

Dark blue I used on my lower lash line as well layered over copper in the middle of the lid.

All the shades are in daylight luminous, there is no visible shimmer. But in artificial light or in photos taken with flash you can see the shimmer. There is no large glitter and most important no fallout.

I have not experienced fading, smudging or creasing during the day. I wore this palette over Lancome Aquatique waterproof eyeshadow base (review coming up).

I think this palette is extremely versatile and offers so many combinations - it only depends how creative you are and how ready you are to play with it.

For 49$ I think you are getting great value - all the shadows are full sized and since it's palette it's very portable, easy to carry in your makeup bag or take with you to some exotic destination. Wouldn't this be perfect for something like that? Caribbean or Hawaii!!!

Daria stunning as always

I did four different looks with this palette trying to use all the shadows.

And I am still interested in this palette from the summer collection

It looks so easy and convenient to have blush, bronzer and highlighter in one compact
