Zoya Valerie is part of the Fire and Ice collection released in the winter of 2010/2011. Curently it is part of the permanent range. Good thing about Zoya even if the color was limited edition years later you can find the whole collection still available on their website.
Valerie is very dark red based purple with duochrome pink and golden glitter. You can even see some of the glitter stuck in one spot in the bottle.
There is no usual sheerness that this kind of a polish texture have. It is extremely pigmented and two coats give full coverage. It glides easily, no streaks, no pulling. It dries to almost matte finish and kind of a rough texture which is not unusual with glitter nail polish. But top coat can fix that easily and gives nice shine to it.Depending on a light you can see all the beautiful glitter in it. It is extremely hard to photograph it and capture the real color. I tried and tried and gave up... you need to see and try this one yourself if you are a purple nail polish lover. It is very unique color. It is different enough from Yasmeen to justify having both. Valerie has much bigger glitter and not so creamy texture and is more warm toned than Yasmeen. These two are great in representing Zoya as a brand especially if you have never tried any of their polishes before. Makes you want to buy more.
