Lancome Le Vernis In Love Rouge Reglisse 473N

Lancome Vernis In love Rouge Reglisse is described as deep wine plum. When I applied it the first thing came to me mind was "WINE". It sure has color of red wine.

Color is deep and vampy. Great choice for fall and winter. 

Rouge Reglisse is part of the "N" series. 

Tonight is My Night: Intense shades for magical nights. Tonight is My Night shades are identified with the letter N in the shade number.

Formula is on a sheer side, more jelly like and with a very glossy finish. For all the jelly lovers out there this will be perfect! I prefer more opaque cream formula but what I liked about Rouge reglisse is that even though it's sheer it's very easily buildable. For my swatch photos I applied two coats - as you can see it gave me full coverage. So I did not to have to apply more than I usually do with any other creamy opaque formula and still got what I wanted. This was very pleasant surprise.

With all the other sheer jelly formulas I've tried before I never had much luck - doesn't matter how many coats I would do it would just stay sheer. 

Also I am falling in love with the brush - one stroke covers my whole nail and it's easy working around the cuticles without making a mess.

It has fast drying time even without a top coat. In photos below I did not apply top coat because it has this beautiful glossy finish without it.
